Day 1: Arrival and Beachside Bliss
On November 11, we flew from Pune to Goa, eager to escape into the beachy vibes. After a smooth flight, we were greeted by our cab driver, who drove us to Grand Vaatika Resort, our cozy base for the trip.

That evening, we strolled along Arambol Beach, feeling the soft sand between our toes as the sun dipped into the horizon. Our day ended with a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach, creating a magical start to our holiday.

Day 2: Churches, Temples, and Lake Serenity
Day two took us deep into Goa’s rich history and spirituality. Our first stops were the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the Basilica of Bom Jesus—both showcasing intricate architecture and stories of the past. The Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Old Goa showcases a stunning blend of Portuguese and Baroque architecture. It features intricate carvings, wooden altars, and captivating wall paintings. Adjacent to the church is a museum housing ancient artifacts and artworks that reflect Goa’s rich heritage. This serene location is a must-visit for those interested in exploring Goa’s history and significant religious landmarks.

Next, we visited the Mangeshi Temple, a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery. Shree Mangeshi Temple is one of Goa’s most revered temples, known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, features a stunning seven-story lamp tower, intricate carvings, and a peaceful courtyard. One important point to note is, shorts are not allowed for both men and women so you might have to purchase a dhoti at a very reasonable price. There is plenty of parking space available. The temple is open from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM every day. There is a small fee to enter the temple Visitors are expected to dress modestly.

In the afternoon, we headed via rocky cliff of Arambol mountain towards Arambol Sweet Water Lake. Nestled amidst trees, this hidden gem was a peaceful spot for a dip. We wrapped up the day at the Arambol Beach, enjoying the crashing waves against the rocks.

We eneded the day by having dinner at Pure veg Cafe Morjim near Arambol beach. The south indian food is very tasty and it is priced at economical rates. If you want to have good food at reasonable prices then must must VISIT. Blessing for vegetarians!
