Day 1: The Road to Bijapur and a Warm Welcome
Our journey began early in the morning, and after a quick stop at Kailas Bhel Food court, Varve for breakfast, we hit the road to Bijapur. The summer heat was relentless, but the excitement of reaching our destination kept us going. By 3:00 PM, we arrived in Bijapur and checked into The Fern Residency, Bijapur. The afternoon sun was intense, so after a comforting meal of dal khichdi at the hotel’s in-house Ajwa Restaurant, we decided to relax and recharge in our room.

Day 2: A Walk through History
After a lavish buffet breakfast at Fern Residency, we started our day with an early morning visit to Gol Gumbaz—a remarkable structure with one of the largest domes in the world. The sheer scale and architectural intricacy left us awestruck.

Next, we stopped by the Jamiya Masjid, a peaceful and serene space that showcases stunning Islamic architecture.

In the afternoon, we explored the Gagana Mahal Palace, Asar Mahal, and Anand Mahal, all within close proximity to each other.

Later, we made our way to Sangeet Nari Mahal, an isolated yet captivating spot often overlooked by tourists. It was the perfect ending to a day spent soaking in Bijapur’s rich heritage.
